How it is appointed / elected
Representatives are directly elected; constituent-peoples caucuses nominate the chair and deputy chairs for Assembly confirmation.

Elect representatives directly by secret ballot for a four-year term.

Take office by jointly making and individually signing the solemn oath; constituent-peoples caucuses then form.
- Peoples’ caucuses and Assembly
Each caucus nominates one chair/deputy-chair candidate. The Assembly confirms them in a single vote by a majority of all representatives. Confirmed candidates decide who will chair.
Conditions and constraints
CIK specifies 25 mandates for contest 210. The published old constitutional text says 30 and is not used for the current seat count.
If a constituent people has no representative, its deputy-chair position remains unfilled.
